The Christian must be able to state what he believes. He must be able to say: "This is that for which I stand." This is all the more necessary in a world where there is a blank indifference to Christianity, and in which there are other faiths competing for the allegiance of men. Christianity cannot evaporate into a nebulous feeling or glow. It is all very well to have an open mind, but there is nothing to be said for a mind which is open at both ends. (from William Barclay, The Apostle's Creed, 1967)
Join us for the "I Believe..." sermon series based on The Apostle's Creed as we look at Biblical passages that shape and define our beliefs.
