Our Mission

“Bringing Christ & People Together”
through…

• Passionate Worship
• Solid Teaching from the Bible
• Genuine Friendships
• Exciting & Relevant Ministries
• Compassion for Our Community & World

At Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene, our mission is to “Bring Christ & People Together” by following in the footsteps of people like Andrew (John 1). Andrew was the first of “The Twelve” disciples to recognize Jesus as Messiah. After hearing the testimony of John the Baptist and spending an evening with Jesus, Andrew was convinced that Jesus of Nazareth was the Christ – the One sent from God to deliver all human beings from their brokenness and sin.

John 1:41-42 says: “The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah’ (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus.”

Andrew’s faith in Jesus prompted an immediate desire to tell his brother, Simon Peter, the good news - and to bring his brother to Christ. The rest is history… these two brothers were in on the “ground floor” of a movement that changed the world!

We believe that bringing people to Jesus is still the most exciting, life-changing mission ever! We invite you to join us on this journey.
