Q: Where is Midland Valley (I can't find it on a map)?
A: Midland Valley is an area, not a city. It includes a lot of area between North Augusta and Aiken, SC. While our Post Office Box (645) is in Clearwater, the church sits on the edge of Graniteville (29829) and Clearwater (29822). The church sits on Highway 1 halfway between Aiken, SC and Augusta, GA. For GPS purposes, please use 3526 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829.
Q: What do I wear to church?
A: You'll find some men in suits or coat and tie, and women in dresses. But, there are jeans, khakis, slacks, and even some shorts every Sunday, so you'll be fine in just about anything you wear.
Q: I look differently than other people. Is that okay?
A: No sweat! We have bikers, business owners, babies, teens, elderly saints, athletes and book worms! You name them, we've got them. Everyone is welcome!
Q: What style of music do you have?
A: Definitions vary and we don't fit into any one box. We sing brand new music from Tomlin, Hillsongs and others, but we also mix in some old hymns occasionally. If you don't like the first song, you'll probably dig the second or third one!
Q: How long is the typical Sunday morning service?
A: We plan for about one hour, fifteen minutes, but always leave room for the Lord to have His way in the service.
Q: Do you have a nursery?
A: Yes! Our nursery includes paid staff and volunteers. Babies and toddlers are split up in side-by-side rooms. We also have Kinderchurch and KidsWay (children's church) for students up through 6th grade. Our facilities are exciting for kids and they love to come to church. Check out the KidsWay website for more info.
Q: Will my child be safe?
A: Every children's worker has had a background check and every student gets checked-in through our automated, touch-screen check-in system. We have taken many precautionary steps to insure your child's safety.
Q: What other ministries do you have for teens and others?
A: All kinds! From babies to senior adults and bikers to those interested in missions, check out the "Connect" and "Community" sections of this website for more information.
Q: How far of a drive is the church from Ft. Gordon?
A: 25-35 minutes depending on traffic and from which gate you come.
